Yokohaha Avid Touring S tires - Excellent!
These tires are great. I ordered these tires up, and saved at least 25% off of the discounted prices at the national tire places. I received free shipping, also great - this saved me $50. I was expecting a 2 week shipping time frame, but received the tires in a little over a week from when I ordered them.I did do diligence and selected this particular tire for it's combination of handling and quiet on the roads (and price,of course). The tires themselves handle well - you feel like the car is more in control, side-to-side. I feel more in control than when I had the Hankook set (although Hankook makes a pretty good tire.) They are real quiet going down the road, although my 2003 Sonata is probably in the middle of the pack as far as road noise goes.I have read that on some cars these tires don't last as long as advertised. But since I'm going to do a struts replacement/alignment soon on the Sonata (as part of regular maintenance) that probably won't be an issue...

The AVID TOURING-S is Yokohama's Standard Touring All-Season tire developed for the drivers of coupes, sedans and minivans. It was designed to combine ride quality, smooth handling, durability and traction in any season, including in light snow. The AVID TOURING-S uses Yokohama's Tri-plex Tread Compound to provide long tread life and all-season traction. This compound is molded into a symmetric tread design that features Silent Shoulder variable tread block sizes and a central Twin Rail Stability Rib to reduce tread pattern noise while offering confident maneuverability. The intermediate tread blocks feature Tapered Rain Channels working in tandem with circumferential grooves to help evacuate water and enhance wet traction while Cross Traction sipes provide biting edges to increase traction in wintry conditions. The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced by nylon belt edge strips on top of polyester body plies that are stabilized by tall, tapered rubber sidewall inserts for better absorption of bumps and road vibrations. Experience:This was a good buy! I know that most people think to themselves, a tire? really? But this has to be one of the best buys I've made and (Im not a fanboy) but the Amazon prime really kicked in for this one. I was able to get free two-day shipping and it arrived with early arrival.The goods:This tire is a great value. It is Goodyear's more economical tire but it is very good. I won't buy any other tire for my Jeep. Long tire life and smooth ride, way to go goodyear!
