Customer Review
Easy install, adds a great amount of stability
I had 5,000lb airlift bags on my 1500HD. Now, I have a 2011 Dodge Ram1500 Quad Cab Outdoorsman. As you might know the Dodge has a coil spring suspension versus the Chevy's leaf spring suspension. I was leary of these bags, as the capacity is only 1,000 lbs. But, they work great. They have just enough oomph to help level the truck out with my 7,000 travel trailer behind it. Installation was easy. I removed the bottom bolts of the shocks. Lifted the frame of the truck to let the axle "hang". Watch the brake lines though, they get taunt. A great tip installing them, heat the bags up with a propane salamander heater. It softened them up enough to make them easier to bend and move in between the springs. Great product. And, it's made in Michigan!

Airlifts are Great!
Purchased these prior to Thanksgiving and installed them myself right after the holiday.Installation was pretty easy - took about 3 hours. These were installed on a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500.I tow my business trailer about 4 days a week, which has a heavy tongue weight. Prior to putting in the airbags the truck would 'squat' quite a bit causing my headlights to blind the poor driver in front of me and certainly caused that light steering feeling. These have been installed for about a month now, I keep the bags at 20 psi at all times - so far they keep their pressure with no leaks. 20 psi for me makes the truck feel good without the trailer and great with the trailer, plus I do not want to keep lowering/adding pressure on a daily basis. The quality of components was very obvious upon opening the box and I look forward to many years of service.Bare minimum - I am sure the drivers in front of me will be very glad they are on the truck!

Works Great!
We watched the video on YouTube on how to install these. Went just like it was suppose to.I had to take the coils out of my 09' Dodge, but went in like a charm. We ran the tubing out to the back of the truck to the receiver hitch, anddidn't even need to drill a hole! Has worked great in leveling out the truckpulling our 5th Wheel!

Air Lift's 1000 Series Rear Air Spring kit is the easy, inexpensive solution to vehicle "bottom out" events, sway and body roll and rough rides that are often the result of inadequate or uneven rear suspension. Consisting of two durable, easy to install and use pressurized cylinders, this kit provides up to 1,000 pounds of load leveling power on each rear wheel, ensuing a safe, smooth and level ride when you need it.
1,000 Pounds of Load Leveling Power
Simple in-coil installation.
Inflate via easy access air line.
Air Lift 1000 Series Air Springs are pressurized air cylinders designed to provide up to 1,000 pounds of additional leveling capacity to heavily loaded vehicles. Designed to work in tandem, the two air springs included in Air Lift's 000 Series Rear Air Spring kit share the duty of supporting your vehicle's rear suspension. Installed within your vehicle's standard coil springs when deflated and malleable, these cylinders can be inflated to up to 50-psi (minimum of 5-psi to avoid chafing and coil pinch) via a series of included air line tubing located by the user at the most convenient spot along the vehicle chassis. Air lines may also be arranged in a dual routing configuration, allowing the the two air springs to be inflated to different pressures if necessary, at different spots selected along the car's chassis. Inflation can be done with any air compression tool capable of delivering the pressure, ranging from a dedicated onboard air compression system, to portable air compression tools built into jump-start tools or even a hand pump. The cylinders are constructed of rugged, durable materials and feature high burst strength.
Whether you are experiencing "bottoming out" during which your vehicle nearly scrapes the road and headlight aim is askew, vehicle swaying and rolling due to uneven suspension or a rough ride, the simple answer to the problem could be rear-end suspension adjustment. You can achieve this easily and inexpensively with Air Lift's 1000 Series Rear Air Spring kit.
