Great carb, easy install for a novice
My dad and I installed this on my 82 Camaro in one afternoon. The only problem we ran into was the bolts to mount it to the intake manifold. Went to three auto stores before getting ones that worked. Initially the carb wasn't sitting right with the seal provided with it, and it had a pretty bad vacuum leak because of this. So switched from the outside bolt pattern to the inside bolt pattern and that fixed the problem. Didn't have to do to much tuning to get it to idle. This carb is very responsive. As always Amazon got it to me quick.

DOES NOT FIT 318 POLY
I ordered this product less than a week ago and it got here in good time, it's a good carburetor, But it does NOT fit the plymouth 318 poly wide block with a stock manifold even though the "Does this product fit?" bar said it did, I'm sure this would be a good carb and probably would fit a 318 LA block *Don't quote me on that* but it does not fit the 318 poly Top to learn more
2 barrel carb
Used this 2 barrel carb on my Ford 312 ci Y block fourbarrel manifold after I used a 4barrel to 2barrel carbmanifold adapter. Works great. Like the manual chokeespecially. I hate elect chokes on carbs in general. Top to learn more

I know these carbs had lots of issues, but for vanity sake, I would love to know what was the right carb for the given truck. My 1930 1 Ton, U133 came with a replacement carb, but I have been told the right model was an RJH-08 short pump. 4 in the Dodge trucks of the 30 and 31 vintage.
