Mag-Hytec covers and pans set your vehicle apart in both aesthetics and function - cast in A356-T6 aluminum and texture powder coated black with machined cooling fins. Magnetic drain plugs trap worn gear material promoting fluid integrity. Each unit is fitted with ARP 568 O-rings for superior sealing. All hardware is 303 stainless steel, in most applications no gasket or sealant is required, and all Mag-Hytec parts are covered by a lifetime limited warranty. Depend on Mag-Hytec when you're pulling a heavy load. Avoid costly reapirs - Extend the life of your Vehicle - Expand oil Capacity - Runs Cooler, Lasts Longer Average of double the fluid capacity Ease of Service The dipstick is knurled for quick removal, the flat is marked low/high to check lube level and a magnet, which acts as an open filter is in the lower end. The MS 7/8 - 14 THD port is large enough to use for filling. The magnet-filled drain plug is the same MS port as the dipstick. Both the dipstick and drain are O-ring sealed. The sending unit fitting is 1/8 pipe THD and shipped with a stainless pipe plug. The calibration plug is centered on the serial number plate and approximates the stock cover fill plug for factory fluid level. Disappointed
I have a 2004 Dodge Dakota pick-up and was told by Haynes Publishing to order this manual. I did, even noting the title listed by Amazon as covering the 2004 Dakota pick-up. When the book arrived, I was dismayed to find the manual covered 2004-2006 Durango's and 2005-2006 Dakota's, completely skipping over the 2004 year model Dakota. After contacting Haynes Publishing to question the error, they informed me that the 2004 Dakota manual was being published and was due out in 60 days.

Haynes Repair Manual - Great Reference Tool
I'm not sure when this was first published, but I wish I would have found it years ago. Even if you don't perform in-depth repair work yourself, a manual like this is a great refernce to have on hand. I use it to locate certain things on the vehicle, and to understand the repair work that I'm having done at a shop. As far as manuals go, I don't have a strong preference between Haynes or Chilton. Haynes won this time because I found them first.

Well made, well engineered.
I will buy another for my other truck when funds permit. Install is simple, product is very well made, reduced rear-end temps while towing by ~35 degrees. Holds more oil but not by raising the fill hole which would be the wrong way.
