Great replacement
My 2001 Camry had about 150k miles on the odometer when I replaced the fuel filter. After installing this replacement, the car now starts up quicker and has better throttle response. Great replacement for a worn out stock fuel filter.

Works as advertised
I wanted a pump with built in check valve that would allow me to have either 6 volt negative or positive ground. As well, I wanted to be able to pull through the pump with my stock fuel pump, using the electric pump to fill the carburetor after extended storage of my antique vehicles without extensive cranking. Works as advertised and fits the need perfectly.

Vinage Airtex Electric Fuel Pump is still available
I have had one of these Airtex fuel pumps on my vintage 6V car for over 20 years. It recently failed so I had to find a replacement. I really like the Airtex fuel pump because of it's small size, isolated electrical design (so it can be used on a 6V, positive ground vehicle) and quiet operation. As I stated, my original pump has been working for over 20 years, and I really doubted that I would be able to buy the exact same pump anymore. I went to every auto parts store in my city and was not able to even order this fuel pump. I was just about to resign myself to buying a much larger, louder, and more expensive pump when I decided to try finding one via Google. I was amazed that Amazon came up with the exact same pump. They not only had this pump in stock, it was significantly less expensive than any other replacement pump I looked at. The first pump that Amazon sent to me did not function for some reason, but Amazon promptly sent me a replacement, which is installed and...

More specific in stating FIRST and CLEARLY it is a 6 Volt pump and not buried far in the description pages.Same applies for the pump pressure output. What is the rated output pressure? Important to know.

Holly Smoke'n Horse Power!!
I have a 2011 Challenger with the 3.6 V-6. I put a Magna Flow Exhaust with and "X" pipe! Sounds Great, but since I had increase my exhaust I lost some off the line power and it created a lag between 2nd 3rd and 4th gear shifts...This K&N took all that away!! It is the perfect combination of Air Flow in and Air Flow out! No lag time off the line anymore and the shifts are again flawless! A stock Air Filter is $28! This K&N was only $34 thru Amazon and you will never have to buy another one! No need to waste money on a Cold Air Intake that costs $250+. Put your money in your exhaust and this K&N and you will be AMAZED at the power your V-6 Challenger will put out! No I dont work for K&N! I was just impressed that much when I dropped this in and took a test ride! The K&N will not do it alone,remember to upgrade your exhaust at the same time to tap into the TRUE Power of your V-6! Great
Not too many mods you can do to a brand new 2012 300 S without voiding the warranty, but adding a drop in K&N is one of them. Definitely noticed a difference. Car pulls harder above 300 and has a growl that didn't have before. This air filter allows more than double the CFM into the engine than the standard filter did. No brainer upgrade, and any novice can do it.
