Exact Match for my 2003 Ram 1500
I am not a mechanic. Just a guy who has more time than money. When turned to heat, my heater would blow piping hot air for 5 seconds and then barely lukewarm air. I was also getting a strong coolant odor when I turned the knob to heat. After a little investigation I discovered that the passenger floor was sopping wet with coolant. After researching how to replace the core myself I purchased this core. As all the other reviews said it will require you to have a shop discharge the Freon and afterwards refill it (mine did it for $60). The other reviews did warn me that the process will take 8-10 hrs and that's what it took me. I also replaced the evaporator core while I was at it. Just go slow and pay attention to where each part goes. Top to learn more
