The ALL-IN-ONE ignition module with immobilizer bypass and CAN Bus interface that is compatible with remote car starters and functional with All Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles with Chrysler TIP keys (mostly 2007 to present). It includes a 2-way data link port for serial communication with compatible remote car starters and also includes analog plug for compatibility with non 2-way data link compatible remote car starters. A key is required for programming but no key is required for operation. The THAR-CHR1 T-Harness (included) is required for the new Chrysler TIP keys. It provides complete control through the T-Harness. These features include immobilizer bypass, keyless entry, factory security as well as the necessary ignition, accessory, start, foot-brake, hand-brake, door-pin, trunk-pin, hood-pin and tachometer signals required for remote car starter installations. There is no need to disassemble the ignition barrel on the new TIP key Chrysler vehicles. Perfect for adding remote start to your 2004-2006 Mopar
This little device makes remote start installs a breeze. Does exactly what it says but it helps if you do your research on what remote starters are data link compatible with this device. Also a note this product includes Thar-chr2 not Thar-chr1 so if you have a 2004-2006 Mopar (Dodge Chrysler Jeep) vehicle this kit has all the parts if you have a 2007+ order the evo-chr.T1 here as it has the THAR-chr1 harness for the newer TIP Style Keys (aka plastic non-bladed keys)

Wow, this module makes it easy. Depending on your car it is all that is needed to add remote start to your Chrysler vehicle! In the off chance that you do have trouble, Fortin has great tech support that is patient and eager to help you with your problems.The firmware update cable is really trick, it connects to the internet and remembers any and all updates that have been applied to your specific unit. Bulldog KE1702 - clean, simple, exactly what I was looking for
The 95 Accord I recently purchased had standard power locks. However, the driver's door had been tampered with to the point that the cylinder was totally disconnected from the lock, forcing me to have to go around and unlock from the passenger's side every time. Needless to say, this was quite annoying. After considering trying to fix the mechanical parts, I stumbled across this unit and figured it would be a cheap, practical way to bypass the problem entirely while adding more overall convenience to the vehicle. Amazon delivered it promptly as always, and it was exactly as described and pictured. I chose to install only the basic lock/unlock functionality as I have no need for light flash, starter kill, etc. So far the unit performs perfectly in this capacity. Range is at least 25-30 feet, even without the antenna wire installed in a straight line as they suggest. The remotes seem to be high quality: the buttons are soft but firm rubber, and the case has a rubberized feel and a tiny...

Easy to install, good range
The unit was easy to test and install and has a range of about 100 feet.For basic testing, temporarily connect the power and ground wires and listen to internal relay clicks while pressing lock and unlock buttons on one of the remotes.To get a good range, it is important to place the antenna wire as close as possible to the top surface of the dashboard so that there is no or little metal between the antenna and the dashboard plastic.The package includes a relay for "starter kill". If you do not need that function, you can use the relay to take advantage of other capabilities that require a separately purchased relay (e.g., parking light lock/unlock confirmation).The instructions in the documentation for pairing the second remote are apparently outdated. Here is a modified version that worked for me. Press and hold the "lock" button on an already paired remote for about 10 seconds until you hear an internal relay click inside the unit...

A breeze to install...
Very cheap, easy to install keyless entry. The only thing holding it back from 5 stars it that out of the box, the range was horrible (10-15ft.) Not sure if this is a problem with old batteries, or if it just has poor range.Update: The unit has now ceased to work at all. Still getting good power and ground, but unit refuses to operate. Dissapointing since I haven't had it very long.
