Saved me $400 !!!
The auto-lock/unlock of the passenger side sliding door of my 2006 Grand Caravan had stopped working. That meant that if the door was locked, it wouldn't open with the automatic open function - either the keyfob or the buttons.Dodge dealership said they had to replace entire lock mechanism, to the tune of about $290 plus labor, so around $400 total! From reading online and using a voltage meter, we determined it was simply the motor in the lock actuator (the motor housed inside this product) that was bad. Replaced just the motor (a $3 part), but that involved tearing into the actuator, and ended up messing up some gears. It worked for about a month, then stopped working. We were about ready to find a junkyard, but then found this product on Amazon. Exactly what we needed!! Simple replacement by removing interior door panel, unhook locking arm, remove entire lock mechanism (you do need some special drive bits), unplug wire, remove one screw to loosen actuator, and...

Works like a charm
Actuator purchased for 2006 Chrysler Town and Country (good for 2001-2007) sliding passenger side door with non-functioning electric lock. Quick shipment and fairly easy installation by prying off inside door panel (you also pry off upper trim around window to help get panel off), then with door open, remove 3 nuts from outside back edge of door which releases the metal housing which holds the actuator inside the metal door frame. Loosen/unhook the rod that attaches to manual lock pin, then remove wire harness, and remove old actuator with T30 star tool and replace. Works like a charm and has ended the frustrating electronic lock failure on sliding passenger door.

POP & LOCK PL 3400
The item was a gift for someone buy had to install it. It was fairly easy to install except for the tape removal on the back. Finely found that a pair of tweesers worked best to peel the cover off of the tape since I could not get my fingers underneath very easy. Lock is working great. Top to learn more

Extremely well designed, won't scratch, decently secure
I decided to give the McGard Tailgate Lock a go tonight. It went without requiring removal of the tailgate, fastened without issue, and does not affect opening/closing of the tailgate.Will this stop a serious thief? Nothing will. However, this will be more than sufficient to stop an opportunistic thief, or at least make them fight for what they want to steal.This is more than just a glorified pipe strap fastener. The bit to engage the screw will be insanely difficult for anyone to try to loosen, who isn't willing to pull out power tools and have it at.This is such a good product that I just bought another one of these for a friend's pickup. Compared to the $1000+ cost of a new tailgate (especially one with a backup camera built in), plus the cost of repainting the vehicle so everything matches, the price for this lock is quite reasonable.This is definitely a must have for anyone who has a pickup truck. I ordered per the selection option for my truck, When i received the product it stated (except 2007 GMC Classic body) when i looked at the order page again i did see (except 2007 GMC Classic body), Yes my truck is 2007 GMC Classic Body. I wanted this since the day I picked up my truck
Since the day I picked up my truck I wanted to adjust the Nav so I could use it while in motion. The 2 minute park in the driveway while I entered the address was a PITA and this not only fixes that issue it does so much more. Getting the dash apart to install this was a bit hard, actually installing the device was so easy (two connections only) that I spent 15 minutes reading and rereading the instructions trying to see what I missed. After I put the dash back together and started the car this just worked.After I use it for a few weeks I'll post an update. Top to learn more

Works as intended
This is for the front passenger door. I used this product on my 1999 Dodge Durango. So far it is working as intended.My journey started after a cold day of snowboarding when my passenger door started sticking (had to pull really hard on the door handles to get the door to unlatch). The next day the door started buzzing when doing an electronic door lock (no buzz on the unlock). I removed the assebmly before ordering this part to see if the assembly could be taken apart and fixed manually. I didn't actually try to repair it but from looking at it I would say this is not a serviceable part and the whole assembly needs to be replaced. This is a specialty part and local stores like Napa, Carquest, Autozone, ETC won't carry this part.Replacement instructions (I'm doing this from memory, forgive me if I miss a detail).Tools required: Phillips Screwdriver, Torques Driver (T30 I think), Socket wrench (10 mm I think), headlamp and/or magnetic drop... I pulled the fuse and it stopped, within 12 hours I had no more running lights, no more inside lights, no locking rear door, and no guage lights. I don't see how this can be no blown fuses, but no lights and other things are not working.
