Voltmeter for my 1978 Dodge truck
A couple of years ago I experienced a problem with the ammeter in the dash of my 1978 Dodge pickup. The solution was to replace the ammeter with a voltmeter. This voltmeter, while slightly different from the gauges in my Dodge, (The needle is red instead of orange.) was a close enough match as the meters on my truck were pivoted from the top of the meter instead of the usual bottom of the meter.I carefully cut the case away from the meter and with just a little bit of modifications to the Dodge inner dash and finding the correct wire from the ignition key, I was able to convert from an ammeter to a voltmeter. Yes this voided the warranty of the meter, but I wanted to have the meter mounted in my dash.

Great little gauge!!
I bought both the voltmeter and ampmeter when they had Prime Shipping. They both function well and were not difficult to install. I'm very pleased with how easy they are to read and how how nicely they fit with the black dash of my lawn tractor.

Cheap and accurate
I purchased this gauge for my boat. Installation was a breeze! Simple 2 wire hookup. Great gauge. Had to drill a 2" hole for installation but it does come with a mounting bracket.

Quickly, easily installed and works great.
I installed this product quickly, easily and it worked just like it was suppose to. Bulldog has some great products and this is definitely one of them. Finally A TACHOMETER
Yes its a tachometer, its cheap, small, and does what its supposed to.Read the manual to make sure you know how to hook up the Illumination wire. It states explicitly to connect it to +12volt if your system uses a dimmer those sometimes limit the ground or negative voltage. Your illumination must be connected to the right kind of wiring system. I didnt have a problem I used the glow from the cigarette lighter for when the dash lights are on.Connect the green wire to the NEGATIVE coil wireHow to test? Go out, find your coil (or ignition module) and use a multi meter, use alligator clips because you dont want to be standing there probing off your ignition module with your bare hands. Use the carframe ground to ground black negative and use red positive to see which of the two Coil leads gives you +voltage. Well that is not the coil lead you want. Another way is to connect both alligator clips to both leads and then start the car if you get Negative voltage...

Good for the money.
I needed a tachometer in my 93 F150 because I just like knowing what my engine is doing. This model was a quality brand and a low price. It is simple and no frills. The cup and bezel are black plastic and the mount is a solid metal that didnt give itself to bending. I used the flat surface adapter and rubber pad included to mount it on top of my dash. The back light is a little dim compared to my other dash lights however.It uses a standard size so I think it can be changed. Also, given the small size of the guage, its hard to get a precise reading. I knew that going in though, so it didnt bother me. Hence the 'Mini' title. Nice little product, thumbs up.
