Great Replacement for 4.7L
Shiny and new parts that came with a new gasket. Two concerns were, like the OEM part-- the weep hole seems to be on top (potential for debris to enter bearing area), and it did not have any warranty literature that I could find (how long is the warranty?). No issues during install as it is exactly like the OEM part, and has operated without any problems for the past 3,000 miles since install.

The best tool for pressed on pulleys
This wrench seemed overpriced to me (I am used to Harbor Freight prices) but it does make the job SO much easier. If you take into account your time and frustration level when trying to come up with some other way to keep the pulley from moving (especially when initially loosening the fan) it pays for itself. This tool is solidly built and the rubber grip feels like it's well attached.The wrench supports two different hole patterns. One side has three ~7/32" pins (with ~2 1/2" and ~1 3/4" spacing) that fit the original Dodge/Mopar water pump perfectly, and the other side has two ~9/32" pins with ~3" spacing that fit the replacement water pump (a DNJ WP1130, using adjacent holes) perfectly as well.If you've been putting off replacing the water pump because you don't want to deal with getting the fan off, this is the tool to get!

Lisle 44180 Fan Clutch Spanner Wrench
Normally a water pump change is a fairly simple job to perform on a vehicle, but in this case I was forced to purchase a special tool in order to proceed with the installation. The tool is a good quality and once I had it, it took all of 5 minutes to do the job I needed it for. If you need to purchase this tool I would recommend this one as it is sturdy and made of a heavy gage steel.

These pulleys have holes instead of bolt heads for use in securing the pulley from rotating while removing or installing the fan clutch assembly. With the use of a 36 mm open end wrench part #88550, #93260 or #95210 the technician can loosen and tighten the fan clutch on many 1999 and later G.M. trucks, vans, SUV's, many 1998 and later Jeeps, and also many 1998 and later Dodge trucks, vans and SUV's.

The 99800A is used on the following applications:

Good book .. but nigh identical Chilton manual is better.
I have always bought Haynes manuals for every car I've owned. In addition to getting this manual from Amazon, I also checked the Chilton manual out of my local library. To my amazement, they were the same book. I didn't know one company had bought the other. Pictures and text were identical. Layout in the Chilton manual was better in that it was easier to find and read information quickly.So I guess for my next car I'll be going with a Chilton book, even though the content will be the same.

Works perfectly
Just used this to replace the pump on my 1995 wrangler. Easy to install (after taking 1/2 the engine apart to remove the old one - haha). Works great - will definitely buy Bosch again in the future.
